1:1 Nutrition Consultations
Initial Consultation
The aim of the initial consultation is to conduct a thorough assessment of you as an individual; so that all advice and action plans can be personalised to your unique needs. This typically involves a review of your:
Current health status, relevant blood tests, and any medications or supplements.
Dietary intake, eating habits, food intolerances, and preferences.
Key lifestyle factors, such as physical activity, nature of your work, daily routine, family commitments, and sleeping habits.
Review Consultation
Making changes to the way you eat can be overwhelming. Review sessions provide you with ongoing education, support, monitoring, and accountability to help you achieve your personal health goals.
These typically involve:
Monitoring progress towards and/or re-evaluation of strategies set in previous sessions.
Celebrating achievements and reviewing any barriers to changes.
Providing additional education, counselling and/or resources to promote sustainable change, and assist you in becoming an expert of your own nutritional health.
Online Appointments
Online consultations are delivered via Halaxy Telehealth.
You will receive an email remainder 2 days prior to your appointment with a link to join your Telehealth consultation. To begin the session, simply click on the link in the reminder email.
You can find more information about attending a Telehealth appointment here.
Online appointments can be booked using the app below, or via our Halaxy profile.
Home-visit Appointments
In-person consultations are carried out in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
This allows for a more holistic approach to nutrition counselling; as you can refer to your pantry or fridge for examples of products you typically purchase, or have any dietary supplements you're taking at hand.
It also saves you the time and effort of travelling to and from appointments.
When requesting a home-visit appointment, please note your location (suburb) and any preferred day/s and time/s. We will then be in touch to confirm a suitable appointment time with you.
